So I have an issue and I don't know where else to turn. I got a Novation Nio 2/4 Audio interface so I can try my hand at digital recording. I installed the software and updated to the most recent drivers. During setup I can get the unit to show that the signal from my guitar is going in, due to the volume bars lighting up. However, after watching several setup videos from Novation themselves, I can't for the life of me get Novation Live lite 8 to recognize the Nio. I set up Live with ASIO and the ASIO driver. Set the input and outputs to Nio 2/4 and nothing. Tried setting up the latency adjustments and it asks for you to set the tone volume to -48hz and turn on the test tone. I get nothing, no sound at all. Anyone out there familiar with either Live lite 8 or the Nio, or computer recording in general? I'm using a PC, which here on the NIN boards is probably taboo, but it's what I could afford so it's what I have to work with. PM with any advice if you'd be so kind. I'm thinking that either A: My computer isn't set up right, Live lite 8 isn't set up right, or the Nio is damaged....going nuts trying to get this figured out and I'm not terribly computer literate...so any help/suggestions would be much appreciated!
